More On Preventive Maintenance

Take a good look at this picture below.  When I plugged my console cable into this port below (after I cleaned it out the best I could with what I had), I couldn't get the switch to respond.  However, after plugging and unplugging repeatedly to try to make a good connection, it finally did make contact and I was able to do what I needed to.  This was just more proof to me that PMs are important.  I could definitely tell the difference in how this felt when I plugged the cable in and how it sounded.
Keep in mind that PMs dont take a long time to do and it is just good for the equipment to do them.
