ShoreTel: What services are unavailable if you reboot the Director server?

I have often wondered what exactly is unavailable when you reboot the ShoreTel Director server during production hours.  Well, here is what I have come to find is unavailable if you reboot the Director server.
1.  Personal call manager will not be available.
2.  New voicemail cant be left when someone calls in.
3.  Workgroup users will be kicked out of the workgroup and will have to log back in when the server comes up.
4.  No auto attendant will be available.


  1. What about huntgroups?
    Is there a way to have a back up extension?

    1. Man, that's been five years ago. I don't recall.
