I was asked to find the IP addresses of a Check Point 4600 box that was in one of the racks. We plan on re-purposing the unit, but need to check what the IPs are so that we can determine if we can reuse them or not. So how do you do that? I do it in CLI. Just console into the unit and run the 'ifconfig' command in expert mode.

If expert access is not allowed or unobtainable, using CLISH you can also get the same information. "show interfaces" will show all interfaces while "show interface " will show you all the info you need, including IP address, for the specified interface.
ReplyDeleteGood info. Thanks 4runner.
