Sometimes being the church God meant for us to be can mean missing church. I'm not suggesting you quit going to church, but sometimes the world outside those walls needs 'the church' more than those inside them.
Maybe you can relate to this, maybe not.

ReplyDeleteAlthough I don't read The Message as one of my regularly visited translations (or transliterations), I do think that it sometimes captures the broader meaning of a verse. For example, and in reference to your post:
"Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is God’s hand for that person." (Proverbs 3:27)
Amen to that.
