I have, on occasion, had to unconfigure a Brocade ICX out of a stack before. Sometimes, you just have to re-purpose a switch. Here is the command that you will want to run, on the ICX, when you have disconnected the stacking cables off the back (of an ICX 6610)(front of an ICX 6450).
6610#stack unconfigure clean
This command is not available on standalone or Active Controller
6610#stack unconfigure me
This unit will recover pre-stacking startup config. Are you sure? (enter 'y' or 'n'): y
remove stack bootup flash
