This is the retired Shane Killen personal blog, an IT technical blog about configs and topics related to the Network and Security Engineer working with Cisco, Brocade, Check Point, and Palo Alto and Sonicwall. I hope this blog serves you well. -- May The Lord bless you and keep you. May He shine His face upon you, and bring you peace.

In case you don't know, I've recently just left working for Brocade (Broadcom, or whoever is going to be on the IP side). Even though it was a short time, I have to say it was mostly a good experience.

best of luck to you and your family! this blog has been a great resource for us.ReplyDelete
Thanks Rick. Very much appreciated. This blog will continue on, and will still be focused on security and infrastructure. Since this acquisition from Broadcom is taking place, I probably won't be talking as much Brocade anymore, which is a real shame. At this point in time, it's still up in the air as to what is going to happen with the IP side of things. I guess we will all see soon enough, but one thing is for sure, a lot of companies are on hold on buying new Brocade gear.Delete
Good luck Shane...ReplyDelete
Thank you Mehul, my friend.Delete
Hi Shane! Sorry to hear about the abrupt changes you are going through...yet we both know that God always has a plan. I know you will do well. (Mathew 6:25-34)ReplyDelete
Thanks Brad. No worries, I made the decision to leave Brocade, so it's all good. But you are right, God is always in control!Delete
Blessings in your new endeavor! I will miss our chats. Though if you need anything on the wireless side, I am very happy to help. Thanks for everything!ReplyDelete
